This is an Iron Warriors themed CSM army totaling in at 2998pts. I am currently using the Black Legion supplement, but may not stick with it. I have not been able to play this yet as it requires quite a bit of FW that I am still in the process of collecting, but I would still like some suggestions. I really dont want to buy something like a Renegade Knight or a Fire Raptor, then decide after one game it doesnt work with my army. I am also wondering what others think of using Plasma Chosen as Troops. Anyways, thanks for looking it over and any feedback is appreciated.

At 3000 points most people play games for fun so this looks like a cool list. The chosen die like anything else though and it is more fluffy for Iron Warriors to use "grunt" style troops in my opinion. Possibly 10 man csm squads with a melta and a CC wep on the champ. Cultists (IW conscript soldiers) could be used extensively as fodder as well.) Lastly have you considered using the Legion list or the space marine siege assault vanguard list?

I am not a fan of cultist, I know they are cost effective but I refuse to use them in place of Chaos Marines. I have another version of this list using normal CSM squads, but the point difference isn't really that big since I use 10 man squads with a 2nd special weapon. I have not looked in to either of those other options, where can I find the siege assault vanguard list?
