Going to a 1500 point LGS tournament soon. Contemplating lists, I came up with this:
Aspect Host:
Dark Reapersx3 plus Exarch
2x Warp Spidersx5 plus Exarch w/ Spinneret Rifle
CAD:
Farseer on Jetbike w/ Singing Spear
3x Scatbikesx3
2x Vaul's Wrath Support Battery- D-Cannon, w/ Warlock
Wraithknight, Sword 'n' board w/ Scatter Laser
Fortification:
Aegis Defense Line w/ Quad-gun
Assassin Detachment:
Vindicare Assassin
So right now I'm thinking of placing the the ADL as well as I can, and putting the artillery behind it, using the warlocks to cast Conceal on their units if they get targeted, or just a couple more WC each turn. On top of the D blasts, there's a lot of mid-strength, high-range weapons. Wraithknight does what a wraithknight does. The warp spiders may not need a spinneret in each squad. And the vindicare I'm not sure about. I want to try out the assassins, and vindicare seems like a safe bet with his Deadshot rule, but is it worth its points for one shot each turn? It does have ignores cover, ap2, and precision shots on each shot, but I question it.
This adds up to 1496 right now.
Side note: I don't have any Forgeworld to swap in.

Drop the spinneret rifles. They are not needed. I would also say forget the dark reapers and just go all Warp spiders.
I would drop the ADL. Add more scat bikes.
I would also drop the assassin for rangers. They are great at holding objectives.
one thing Eldar are weak to are drop pod/infiltrating armies. I would go with an inquisitor w/ 3 servo skulls.

Ignores cover and BS 8 on an intercepting quad gun sounds fun for vindicare assassin but for the most part that won't get your points back. Spinnet rifles are a nice peice of AP1 but really aren't a neccessity, dark Reapers are incredibly expensive for what they do and the Wraithknight either needs 2 shoulder mounted weapons or none for the melee variant...
So I'd go something like this:
, I did it over excel and made it close to 1650 by accident...so as an ammended list:
CAD
Farseer Skyrunner, Spirit Stone of Anath'lan, Singing Spear 135
Farseer Skyrunner, 115
Windriders (3) Scatterlasers 81
Windriders (3) Scatterlasers 81
Windriders (3) Scatterlasers 81
Windriders (3) Scatterlasers 81
Hornets (1) Pulse Lasers 80
Hornets (1) Pulse Lasers 80
Hornets (1) Pulse Lasers 80
Wraithknight Ghostglaive and Scattershield 295
Voidshield Generator 2 Void Shields 75
Aspect Host
Warp Spiders (5) Exarch 105
Warp Spiders (5) Exarch 105
Warp Spiders (5) Exarch 105
(Amended for accurate points limit)

Thanks guys! Thinking about it over the weekend I did drop the spinneret rifles already, and I decided the vindicare assassin wouldn't be much use. Is there an assassin that pairs well with Eldar? I do also love my rangers.
Dark reapers have done a lot of work for me, but this will be a more competitive environment so I will probably take the advice to just have the host be all spiders as well.
I can maybe proxy up an Inquisitor, I'll think about that.
Definitely going to add more scatbikes with the changes thus far.
Don't have a VSG, or any FW stuff right now (so no hornets but I plan to get some eventually). So I'm still leaning toward the D-cannon artillery currently. And I still like the idea of putting it behind the ADL, but maybe without the quad-gun? Maybe drop the ADL entirely like you guys say.
Gonna take this advice into account, and come back with an updated list. Thanks again for the input!

Reapers have their place, depending on the meta you're playing in, lotsa white scars, Flyrant Circus or fliers, and of course, opponent's Scatbikes.
Assassins?
It's the culexus that has the best, focused application, stumping enemy eldar psykers. I have little other experience with the others.
I think that Callidus chick beat me up playing Half-Life, but that's been a while ...

Hornet (1) - 2 Pulse Lasers - 80

Hornet (1) - 2 Pulse Lasers - 80
Wraithknight - Ghostglaive and Scattershield, 2 Scatterlasers - 325
Void Shield Generator - 3 Void Shields - 100
Isn't this considerably more than 1500 points?
