I apologise for the vague title but I've got three unrelated queries apart from them involving marines. Any help with answering them would be gratefully accepted, I also hope I'm not breaking forum rules by asking these, if I am feel free to lock this topic. Source wise I've got the 7th ed rule book and marine codex but no forge world or AoD supplement which I may buy if they have useful info.

1) Would a Librarius conclave fielded as single unit have to cast force for each individual or would it work similar to grey knights? I have a feeling its a case of each individual with brotherhood of pyskers making it an exception for the knights, but worth a check.

2) Can honour guard swap relic blades for Tears of the scorpion? I ask as the only reference I've seen for them doesn't mention specific wargear lists for characters. I'd also be appreciative if anyone can name the most up to date literature with this answer though I've heard rumour it may be getting replaced in the next IA.

3) Definitely wish listing this one buy just wondering if the Angels of Death supplement changed anything regarding the new cataphractii armour being able to be taken in rhinos? I ask as I'd like to make terminator captains to leads my iron hand squads, granted there nowt to stop me modelling them in this way anyway or using techmarines but I won't lie that a durable character giving my sternguard slow and purposeful would be a bit tasty.

Many thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Not sure on 2 or 3, but for 1, the Force power is very specific as to who it affects.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Cheer's bit embarrassing that I missed that no I've re-read it, tasty though. If it turns out Red Scorpion honour guard can use tears of the scorpion, them plus a Loth lead conclave could be pretty brutal.

Steady Space Marine Vet Sergeant

Cataphractii armour works like normal termie armour with extra rules. So no putting them in rhinos.

To be honest though I don't know why you'd want him in a rhino, as his SaP makes him good for walking around with Devastator squads.

If you can't believe in yourself, believe in me! Believe in the Dakka who believes in you!

Drat, foiled. was hoping to make him a terminator sergeant for some sternguard. Same reason pretty much as the devastators, give the Sternguard 2 grav-cannons (maybe combis) if feeling flush, they can fire from the rhino, and if in an advantageous position can double tap and charge when nabbing objectives, also with the Fist of Medusa strike force he'd boost their Fnp, also kind of handy being able to take 3 command units, thus allowing you to give one to each squad in a minimum 1st company task force. No the most effective use of points but fluffy and would give some flexibility to the units. Had been wondering about doing the same thing as librarians as squad leaders and hoping on rolling enduarance, but too unrealiable to count on really.

Thanks for the reply though, 2 down 1 to go

Pretty unlikely but if anyone needs the rules for tears of the scorpion, I got talking at the local club, turns out the rules for tears of the scorpion are in the reboot of the Anphelion project, looks like you can replace any relic blade but at a cost, axes and glaives are looking tempting though I suspect they might be changed in the next imperial armour as the values for the glaive seem back to front compared to power spears, though maybe it was deliberate and meant as a counter charge weapon.
