Hi All,
I was thinking about starting a campaign based in the old world but using the rules for AOS, I was wondering if the Mighty Empires rules for 8th could somehow be used in anyway?
I am not familiar with the rules at all but was hoping they might be useful in someway.

I know there is a heap of campaigns in the new books but i don't have any new armies yet to play with.
Would i need to wait for the point system to come out in the "generals Handbook"

I am taking inspiration from Total war :warhammer i guess and basically the end goal was to run a real life game.
It was a happy coincidence but the armies i collect just so happened to be the Dwarfs, Empire, Greenskins and Vampire Counts
I also managed to collect the legendary lords, Ungrim, Karl Franz, Grimgor and Mannfred.

what are your thoughts?

Can't help you on the mighty empire front but I can tell you that the generals handbook contains points and a path to glory system that'll certainly benefit your old world campaign.

Would really love to see some pics or battle reports if you can spare them.

At http://www.louisvillewargaming.com/Resources.aspx you can find a pretty comprehensive (290~ pages) fan-made campaign system to use with Mighty Empires. Its for AoS and uses the Azyr comp points system.

Just as an FYI when "official points" come out, Azyr Comp will be dead and Azyr Empires will be retooled to work with "official points".

The reason being is that no one will use Azyr Comp or really most any other comp while Official Points is a thing so rather than fight that we are adapting to it.

Is there anywhere to download the Mighty Empires rules as i can't find anywhere to purchase it. Even Ebay had nothing.
