Thrall Wizard of Tzeentch

Eye of Terror.

What do you think of this guy as a light-hearted Chaos Space Marine special character. You CAN comment on competitiveness if you must...
Big Gribbly

Unit Composition: 1 (Unique)
Battlefield Role: HQ
Unit Type: Beast (Character)
Points Cost: 90
The origins of the foul beast known only as Big Gribbly are shrouded in mystery. It is said by some that he is the oldest of all Chaos Spawn, bred by the Changer of the Ways in order to spread disgust and mutation across all of reality. It is mostly agreed that he was originally an Acolyte Sorcerer of Tzeentch, who, in failing to fulfil his part in the Great Conspirator’s endless plans, found himself falling out of favour. It is rumoured that he may even have begun to unveil the secrets of the Daemon Lord Aetaos’rau’keres, and, as such, his Master dealt out a foul punishment. Within a matter of weeks, the Sorcerer began undergoing horrid changes of the flesh, and though he at first saw these as boons, it soon became evident that he was being consumed by the sheer number of mutations. Eventually, with a maniacal laugh, and the cry of “Just As Planned”, Tzeentch claimed his mind, leaving him as a ravening beast.
Unlike other Chaos Spawn, Big Gribbly has retained some stability, allowing him to live for millennia within the seas of the Warp, a sorry sight to all those who cross his path. However, throughout this time, he has often become agitated by his condition, and with great garbled bellows, has summoned his kin, whom his presence invigorates, and led rampaging vendettas against the denizens of realspace. Yet these are not the creature’s greatest enemies. He harbours still a bitter hatred for the Master of Betrayal, and often assails the Impossible Maze, much to the amusement of Tzeentch. So is this abomination stuck in an endless cycle of futile rage and sour resentment, and in such a state he shall perpetually stay, as is the will of Tzeentch.

Wargear: Mark of Tzeentch, 3* Gift of Mutation, Chaotic Bile.
Special Rules: Fearless, Rage, Rampage, Relentless, Mutated Beyond Reason, Greater Random Attacks, Hatred: Daemons of Tzeentch and Mark of Tzeentch, Graaaarghll, Sire of Spawn, Stable Mutation, Feel No Pain (6+), Fear.

Mark of Tzeentch: A model with a Mark of Tzeentch has a Mark of Chaos. In addition, it gains +1 to its invulnerable saves, to a maximum of 3+, or gains a 6+ invulnerable save if one was not already present.
Gift of Mutation: A model with a Gift of Mutation gets a single roll on the Chaos Boon Table before the game begins, re-rolling Spawnhood and Dark Apotheosis results. If you have multiple Boons of Mutation, roll on the table that many times.
Chaotic Bile: Sometimes, Big Gribbly has been known to spew forth torrents of repulsive liquid that terribly mutate anything they touch, sometimes driving foes to join the ranks of the Chaos Spawn.
Range: Template. S: D6+2. AP: 5. Type: Heavy, Poisoned (3+), Warping Influence.
Warping Influence: If a Character or Monstrous Creature is removed as a casualty as a result of this special rule, roll a D6. On a 4+, place a new Chaos Spawn model, under your command, within 6” of the slain model’s location. If this is for any reason impossible, no Chaos Spawn is created.
Mutated Beyond Reason: At the start of every Fight Sub-Phase in which a model with this special rule is engaged in close-combat, roll a D3 on the following table and apply the result until the next Fight Sub-Phase.
1: The model gains a 4+ Armour Save.
2: The model rolls an additional dice for its Random Attacks or Greater Random Attacks and discards the lowest dice.
3: The model’s close combat attacks have the Poisoned (4+) special rule.
Greater Random Attacks: Big Gribbly is such an immense but mindless beast that none can tell whether he will drown his foes in an unholy barrage of attacks, or sacrifice this flurry for a single, lunging blow.
At the start of a Fight Sub-Phase in which a model with this special rule is locked in combat, roll 2D6. This is its Attacks characteristic before any modifiers.
Graaaarghll: Big Gribbly growls twisted syllables of pain that drive his allies to greater anger, however these orders are barely comprehensible and as such are more likely to confuse his underlings than motivate them.
Whilst within 12” of a model with this special rule, all friendly models gain the Rage and Rampage special rules, but suffer a -2 penalty to Leadership.
Sire of Spawn: Big Gribbly gathers droves of Chaos Spawn about him, and some charm allows him to invigorate them beyond their usual capabilities.
If Big Gribbly is taken in a primary detachment of Chaos Space Marines, Chaos Spawn become Troops choices instead of Fast Attack, and they gain the Objective Secured, Relentless and Feel No Pain (6+) special rules.
Stable Mutation: Big Gribbly is more permanent than his kin, and will not undergo fully random mutations. He is also beyond all hope of Daemonhood, but is safe in the knowledge that he will never be as feeble as another of his kind.
A model with this special rule can re-roll results on the Chaos Boon Table and Mutated Beyond Reason table. In addition, it always re-rolls Spawnhood and Dark Apotheosis results on the Chaos Boon Table, and continues to re-roll these results until a different result is rolled.

I thought Tycho was comedic because he literally has no purpose.

And isn't he dead in the current fluff?

I'm all for comedic characters. After all, My army of choice (still working on my ad mech/skitarri and IK armies) is Iron Hands and Kardan Stronos is the biggest joke of all.

I'd play against this guy so long as I don't have to play against anymore eldar scattbike with 3+ WK. So, so sick of playing against that list.

Twinkle, Twinkle little star.
I ran over your Wave Serpents with my car.
