Hey Dakkadakka! I could use some advice, I am playing in Capital City Blood Bath, which is probably the biggest 40k tourney in Canada in August. Now I do normally play decently competitive, but this time I am going to WAAC as that is the nature of the singles event for the weekend. I have come up with the list below, the format it 1850 ITC with the restriction that all Doom of M entries or 0-1 per army. Let me know what you think, I will post specific questions below aswell

Eldar CAD
1x Farseer w/jetbike and singing spear
6x 3 man scatbikes
1x Lynx w/bright lance
1x 3 Hornet Unit w/pulse lasers
2x D-Support Batteries
1x Wraith Knight w/d cannon and 1x scatter laser

Aspect Host
3x 5 Man Warp Spiders

Questions:
1. Is there a better HQ option compared to the Farseer?
2. Are any upgrades on the Lynx worth taking?
3. I sometime hear the shooty wraith knight is less effective, is this true?
4. I am not sure about the unit of hornets, would it be better to drop this to one, or get rid of it in favour for something else?

Does CCBB use ITC rules?

In the ITC (mostly west coast USA, but some places in the east coast use its rulings too), 'toe in' Cover Saves for MCs and GMCs was voted out, so a WraithK's longevity was reduced. Hunter's Eye boosted Gravguns and other such goofery being so prevalent make the 5++ seem to be the more favored load out for the WK in in ITC ruled tourneys.

Then again, why not shave some points and run a Skathach?
