Hurr! Ogryn Bone 'Ead!

Hey Dakka,
When i get home i was thinking of adding to my ultramarines, i'm keeping about half of them unpainted since i started them about age 9 (at that age i thought i did a great job, lets keep that lie alive) but i'm wondering what to add, so far i have...
Calgar,
a captain,
two tac squads, one with a melta and one with at least 2 with missile launchers,
a bike sqaud of around 3/4
a razorback,
a broken landspeeder with flamer,
a stormraven (in my IG colours)
and a squad of scouts although only two of them have snipers.
A half built drop pod somebody gave me.
Now how should i add to this? I like to the look of the land speeder storm and i'd like that SGT telion bloke just for rule of cool. i was thinking of getting a predator/stalker as a tank choice too.
Lastly i have DR, is it worth converting any of those models?
Thanks everybody.

The Marine Standing Behind Marneus Calgar

You have a fairly generic core to build from. So the question is where do you want to go?
These days it’s a good idea to look at formations for direction. The gladius, even if you don’t go full company for the free transports, is a solid build.
I’d start by aiming to get a battle demi-co on the table.
You have the captain (what’s he geared with, you might want a new HQ)
You have 2 tac squads. If they are full 10 man squads, you could split one of them to get the third you need.
You have the bikes for the FA pick.
You need Devs.
After that, you need an auxiliary choice. As you are talking about scouts, that’s a good path to go down. You need 3 squads total.
Depending on your captain, converting one on a bike would be a good call. What bits to use depends a lot on what you have on hand. It will make him more of a force to be reckoned with, and less of a tax.
Depending on your bits selection, a dev box should be high on your list of things to pick up. In an ideal world, you probably want some LC devs, and the grav/melta can find good homes in tac squads.
You might not need to pick up a tac box, but some power armor bodies with basic bolters can be scraped up from a number of sources to fill the ranks. All your tac squads should get a transport of some sort.

Drop Pods are always great for board coverage/suicide melta squads.
The Land Speeder Storm can be deadly with shotgun/ccw scouts jumping out and a PF sergeant.
Bikes are always great.
A Thunderfire Cannon. Just one will ruin most horde army/infantry players day.
