Im looking into making these blood warriors I have into some Khorne Berserkers. Has anyone on here managed to turn the stock legs into something more like Space Marine boots?

I didn't do anything special with the boots, and mine look like this:



I imagine they'd be hard to modify, apart form trying to remove some plastic to flatten them out a bit, then maybe adding some trim.
That's way beyond my skills though!
