Anyone here use it? Not sure what I did but I can't get the Super heavy tanks, Titans or anything like that anymore.
Is there something I need to checkoff?

Thanks.

That's wacked. Checked 5th edition and the Warmachines are there. 6th and 7th seem to be a problem.

Thanks for the reply.

Have you tried Battle Scribe? A) it's free and B) it seems to be up to date on all 40k things like formations and detachments

Yeah give Battle Scribe a try. Much faster updates, larger team working on it. It's just better.

I've always liked the layout better on Army Builder, I find it's easier to use.

But they are really bad at updating things to the point where I had to switch over to Battlescribe.

I don't seem to have any problem getting super heavies to come up if they are from the codex. The IA stuff can be a bit more difficult, but you should just be able to engage the IA under Rules and they will come up. For normal stuff they should all appear under Lords of War for sorting purposes. Just remember you aren't paying anyone to set up and build Army Builder files for 40K. Some of the armies are done quite badly and others are done great. Like right now the Daemons file is riddled with errors and its not an easy or quick fix by any stretch.

I am not computer savy. I can do the basics. As for the down loading and getting it to work. I'm screwed. I can get on BattleScribe. It's down loaded just can't get it to link up.
Yes I followed the directions and did the right click thing but it's not working.. Where is my 12 yr old nephew when I need him.

LOL! While I am computer savvy, I can't guide you at the moment not being in front of my home PC and using Army Builder. Once I can I will message you to see if I can help.

P.S. I love your avatar. El Dorado is one of my favorite John Wayne films. Its just good fun.

I used army builder for a while, but with 6th and especially 7th is got really clunky due to the formaitons and detatchment rules. Plus you have to pay for it to get full functionality.

I swapped over to battle scribe. Best choice. Data files are out in a few days instead of a month and when a bug in the code creeps up its updated quickly.

Army Builder often defaults to hiding unit types.
For ages I thought they missed characters out of the Eldar lists, but I had not ticked the "show me the bosses" tick-box in the options.
It is good when you know what you want from it, and what it might do to stop you doing that. If you use it as a replacement to the codex, you'll end up in trouble.

I imagine that's a legacy from earlier editions of 40K when special characters required your opponent's consent to use.

I would reccomend battle scribe. It is very reliable and i use it for all of my 40k armies.
