Ok so I used to run blood Angela when assault marines were troops and decent of angels was more of a thing. I recently got my army back, painted it for a friend and he is getting out of the hobby so bought it back, and I want to take it to this 2000 point tournament in July. This tournament is heavily comped and they don't allow "tournament lists" in. So the list I submitted contained the skyhammer annihilation force and I think they are going to send the list back saying no to it so I am working on another more friendly list. I really want to run a decent of angels list so this is what I was thinking:

Flesh tearers strike force

Commander Dante (gives the old decent rule and refill reserves)
Librarian, lvl2, melta bomb, jump pack, (force axe maybe?)
Sanguinary priest, angel wings(really mad I can't take 3 now. Unless I missed something?)

5 scouts with CC(mandatory troop choice)

Furioso Dread, frag cannon, heavy flamer, extra armor
- Drop pod

10 death company, 2 with power fists

10 assault marines, 2 melts, get sergeant, power fist, jump packs
10 assault marines, 2 melts, get sergeant, power fist, jump packs
10 assault marines, 2 melts, get sergeant, power fist, jump packs

5 devistators, 4 missiles with flak

Stormraven, typhoon missiles, hurricane bolters, extra armor
(Death company in raven)

So what do you think?

personally id go with a predator over devastators. With TL-las and two las sponsons plus the overcharged engines you have on less shot but much more mobility. Then again my meta isnt big on flyers so i don't worry bout anti air so much.

I forgot to note that we are not using the death from the skies rules for this tournament.

So.. I could drop the typhoon missiles for the twl multi melta and drop the hurrican bolters. That gives me 55 points. 35 for the extra pod but then i am at 10 points which is 5 less of a power weapon. I could drop the melta bombs from one guy and get a power axe on him instead
