Hello, folks.
Trying to put a smaller, 1000 point mono-Harlequin force together to give me a bit more leeway in what kind of games I can play, wanted to know what people thought of this.
Formation: Cast of Players
Death Jester
Shadowseer (Mastery Level 2)
Troupe Master - Harlequin's Caress, Haywire Grenades and Starmist Raiment (Warlord)
Player x 6 - Harlequins Kiss
Formation: FaolchĂș's Blade
2x Skyweavers - Haywire Cannons, Zephryglaives
2x Skyweavers - Shuriken Cannons, Zephryglaives
1x Voidweaver - Prismatic Cannon
Formation: The Heroes Path
Death Jester
Shadowseer - Mastery Level 2, Haywire Grenades, Mask of Secrets
Solitaire - Cegorach's Rose, Haywire Grenades
Totals out at 998 points - and an almost exact split between the three formations, curiously. The plan is to go Phantasmacy on my Cast of Players Shadowseer and Telepathy on my Heroes' Path one (for Psychic Scream, naturally). The Cast of Players advances on foot, relying on Veil of Tears to hopefully stop the enemy from shooting them to bits. Skyweavers harry enemy units with haywire and shurikannons, and make opportunistic charges, and they're also there to pop their mirage launchers and soak up overwatch for the Troupe before it charges an enemy. The Voidweaver just guns down whatever target of opportunity it can before it gets popped by something. The Heroes' Path DJ and SS stick together, comboing for that -4 Death is Not Enough while the Shadowseer puts Psychic Screams and Hallucinogen Grenades into anything that she can get within 12 inches of. The Solitaire is my assassin: his job being to hunt down whatever the strongest thing on their side of the field is, be it a knight equivalent if they're cheesy enough, a monstrous creature of some kind, characters, tanks, you name it, he goes for the top one, and when/if he's done killing that he starts working his way down.
Any comments or advice?
