Hello! I'm a new guy, obviously! But I'm also new to Warhammer in general, as I'm falling in love with the lore and I'm currently about halfway through Horus Rising. I'd love to get into the actual wargame, preferably with Chaos Marines as I already have the rule book and Codex for Chaos Marines.

I don't have the funds to buy anything yet, but I have my eye on a dark vengeance starter kit with the intention to one day have a Khornate or Nurglite Legion, or perhaps a Legion of Astartes, backed by a regiment of the Imperial Guard. I'm just trying to say I'm a newbie to 40k but I'm loving the lore and the figurines look oh so tempting

The joy about this hobby is you technically don't have to have the models to play a game, I've trialled a new force (to see if I liked the way they play) using coins to reference troops and containers for tanks and dreadnaughts etc, a bit of imagination and things around the same size goes a long way
