The covenant of fire rite of war makes the tanks that much harder to kill, so it makes sense to go tank heavy. I'm still not 100% convinced about 20 strong marine squads. I think they'd look cool, but salamanders are so incredibly slow...

Thoughts?

Your still tough. The fire drakes with shield and termi armour plus the hq with same. Spartan is tough. If it hits something it will die.

I think that at 2k points you might be better off with going with more troops/tanks rather than using the typhon. You can always bring tactical support squads as well. Using the all flamer and melta squads really do play up to the strength of the Legion and their special RoW.
