Subject: My painted ratling sculpts! (first three)
Here they are, the first set of three painted. That's the sarge with the binocs and nice sideburns. The other two are on their break...and yeah, a blond sniper is certainly at a disadvantage in the jungle, but hey even Murder Inc. gets a ten minute break. I should have given her a smoke...Anyway, this is the issue with painting real camo...the whole model is just mottled green! Which does fit in the jungle bases I made.
I do have a survey for you if you don't mind. Notice I sculpted them on wooden bases that are thick. The sitting one (bottom set of pics) has a rock that is at the edge of the base...what do you think, should I paint the sides of the base to match the rock going all the way down? Leave as is, or put a different color along rim? Here's the pics...
