My meta is planning on starting a PtG campaign where we each use a specific traitor legion with the overall goal of a larger game of CSM vs. Loyalists. For the first part, I have chosen to represent the Iron Warriors, however because they do not follow a specific God, I am tasked with choosing whichever God I want. My fluff is that this warband calls a considerably large asteroid field near the Eye of Terror home, and have been residing there in wait for Perturabo's orders to attack. During the time since the heresy, they have been raiding Fortresses scattered throughout this region of space and have been part of the previous Black Crusades, as they were promised, and received various vehicles and armaments. For this campaign, my warlord is a Chaos Lord: Warsmith Pyrrhus, in Power Armor (I did not have an extra terminator suit lying around, but I did have a legion MK III techmarine that I converted), Plasma Pistol, Power Sword, Sigil of Corruption
Based on this background, I was thinking either Tzeentch, as they have been waiting and plotting their vengeance for 10K years, Nurgle because they have long since sold their souls to the Father in a deadly siege several millennia ago, or Khorne as they want to kill all who worship the false Emperor. I was also thinking that having a +1 invl would be fluffy as they have lived so long, and fought for so long, they must have some divine intervention on their side, or +1 T based on their siege training and ability to keep fighting in order to obtain their goal.
What would you do, and why?
