Subject: imperial knight renegade

Sorry if I'm asking this in the wrong place but...
I'm looking at making a 1500 point imperial knight army that consists of
2x Imperial Knight Paladins
2x Imperial Knight Errants
would i be able to make these by purchasing 2 imperial knight renegade box sets?
I've been trying to google the answer without much luck.

Yes. 2 boxsets would give you everything you need to build 4 Knights... all 4 can be built as Knight Paladins or Knight Errants. You additionally will have the bits to build two as Knights Gallants, Wardens, or Crusaders and the bits to upgrade 2 with a Missile Pod, and 2 with some anti-air autocannons.
Your 4 knights will come in 10 points below your limit before any upgrades.

OP never mentioned the Forsworn Detachment. I think he's referring the boxed game Imperial Knight: Renegade, not the Renegade Knight faction. His list is perfectly legal as an Imperial Knights Household Detachment, Baronial Court, or Skyreaper Lance (assuming he uses Icarus Autocannons on each).

What mythos said.
The renegade box set contains effectively 1 Knight Warden and 1 Knight Paladin set along with some building sprues. The only weapons you get one copy of are the Thunderstrike Gauntlet, carapace weapons (but you get two different carapace weapons) and Avenger Gatling Cannon.

I'd reccomend mixing a warden up in there, maybe 2 errant's 1 paladin 1 warden. the warden's gatling gun is too good to miss out on
