just looking for a fun mindless kill a bunch of skeletons and zombies dungeon crawler

I got in to skyrim for a while but that's a little more involved and not dungeon centric

I think you will probably have to branch out into RPGs if you've tried Diablo and Torchlight and are still hungry for mindless monster-slaying.

Dungeons of Dredmor.

There is no better dungeon crawl than Dungeons of Dredmor. It's build 100% around the idea, and has the best sense of humor of any dungeon crawler game on the market, hands down. Granted, it's not what Diablo purists think when they think of a dungeon crawler, but I assure you, especially with mods, it has enough content to last for years.

Legend of Grimrock is also quite good.

"You listen to me. While I will admit to a certain cynicism, the fact is that I am a naysayer and hatchetman in the fight against violence. I pride myself in taking a punch and I'll gladly take another because I choose to live my life in the company of Gandhi and King. My concerns are global. I reject absolutely revenge, aggression, and retaliation. The foundation of such a method... is love. I love you Sheriff Truman." - Twin Peaks

I give a +1 to Grimrock as well, solid game.

Dungeons of Dredmor, however, can be as mindless or complex as you want it to be.

Binding of Isaac, Rogue Legacy, Enter the Gungeon, Dark Souls, Demon Soul's, Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Legend of Grimlock, Bloodborne, etc have dungeon crawl elements don't know if most of those are officially Dungeon Crawl's though.

Path of Exile is a fun 'hold down left click and drink potions' game.

Try Darkest Dungeon too- hours and hours of intense combat and the creeping insanity!

Diablo 3 is pretty good, and they've been updating and adding lots of stuff to it.

Darkest Dungeon is fun, but more of a turn based, get your face punched in kind of game.

Dungeon Siege 1 and 2 are pretty good, much closer to the dungeon crawl (3 isn't, more of an action game). Titan Quest appeared around the same time as Diablo 2 did and shares a lot of the same design characteristics and is super fun (but dated).

If you don't mind dated gameplay or graphics, Diablo 1 is still pretty fun too (you mentioned that you've played Diablo, but not which one, I'll assume you meant 3).

There are other RPG's that involve a lot of dungeons and areas to explore; Icewind Dale, Divinity: Original Sin, Baldurs Gate, and Pillars of Eternity. All of these are a bit more RPG-ish than the games you mentioned; they tend to expand on the dungeon slash type and mold it more into an RPG - might be worth checking out.

thanks all.

@frankenberry - yeah I meant diablo 3. already beat that, pillars and baldurs =P
all great games.

I like diablo 3 but from what I can tell all of the content upgrades need to be purchased correct? ill admit though that I haven't looked at it in a while.

Kind of. Grab the Ultimate Evil Edition, which includes the base game and DLC. That should be fairly cheap on PC (~$10-$20?)
