Hello there, kiora, gidday.

I'm a wargamer living in Melbourne, I was invited to come and join in on the 'Tale of Many Gamers' painting challenge http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/694103.page by Azazelx, an old friend. DAKKA looked interesting to me, so thought I'd give it a go.

hmmm... wargaming background for me...

Started with WH Fantasy back in the 90's - a Khorne Army with Chaos Dwarf allies, back when you used to be able to play them. I used to play in a campaign in Pendragon, an old gaming store in a basement on Queen St, Auckland which closed .

Moved to Melbourne in mid-90's, and started playing BB (Humans, Undead, Dark Elves) 40K (Dark Angels, Space Wolves) and such. Moved on to Necromunda (Ratskins/Van-Saar) and then started other games like Warzone/Chronopia. Moved into historicals like FoW and Warhammer Historicals, and now play games like SAGA and Hail Caesar/Black Powder (good old Rick Priestley).

Have just published a game with some mates, based on Tribal skirmishing combat. Created a publishing house for us to publish different games - ran demo's etc at Salute in London. Went to Nottingham and met Warlord crowd (lovely guys), and checked out Warhammer World where I rediscovered my love for GW stuff. Also met Bryan Ansell at Wargames Foundry, and he drew a picture of me as an ork. This is what I look like as an ork!

Cheers.
