Subject: [3,000] Death Guard - 'Fluffy' Orbital Assault
Hi all! Now, as some of you may know, DG weren't the fastest legion out there, and were not usually fans of assaulting from deepstrike as it goes against the whole 'massed infantry' tactic that they oh-so-loved. Anywho, here's a first draft (using models I own) of this very idea:

Pretty self explanatory: Mortarion and the Medicae run with the Deathshroud, Drop pods act as emergency spotting points. For the sake of 'durability' I may run the pods empty (RAW (apparently) states that they don't HAVE to deep strike, but just have to have access to the ability/transport. I know that this is against as RAI and would only be a though more-so than the main way of running it)
Beyond that, the terminators aim to just punch things to death, or cut them up with the scythes. Tacticals aiming for objectives. I know it's not the most effective list, but it seems like it would be interesting to play.
I'll never be able to repay CA for making GW realize that The Old World was a cash cow, left to die in a field.

The Reaping ROW bans deepstriking units and pods, the core Legion traits don't. All Legions would have made use of Orbital Assault, just some were more specialised at it than others (SoH, NL, RG).
