So instead of the big heavy pads they made before, these are smaller (50mm squares) and therefore lighter, meaning easier to ship. There's too many options to show, so go check it out.

Bear in mind that many of these smaller stamp pads are actually cut from the larger ones, so there may be some overlap if you already own a few of the larger ones.



You can see some of the sample stamps sitting on top of the larger pad in the picture here, and end up with stuff like the picture below:



Some interesting designs cover just about every style of game/ terrain out there- magma, tundra, tiles, streets, deserts, football pitch, railroads, tank tracks, scifi corridors...

I'd put some other samples up, but I don't know if they do the stamps justice, since they used PLAY DOH just to show what they can do.

The product looks great, and I really love the pad I have!

I can't see when pads will unlock, and some of the presentation is a little baffling, like this:

Develop YOUR sculpting skills by editing and changing leaves on putty pressed with this sculpt - some (the decomposing ones) have been purposely sculpted with a little less detail for this reason. You can leave those ones as they are, or sculpt onto them yourself!

Intentionally leaving off texture from a pad that exists to create texture seems odd. There is a stone one described that way and lacking stone texture, as well. I think people can try sculpting extra details on without leaving out needed detail!

Also, while I think getting backers to share the campaign is great, I think counting up how many actual forum posts (not just threads) people make and saying they must be positive to count is also a little off.

But overall, I love this product and will be very tempted to pledge for a small pad... or 4

The pad unlocking thing seems to be tied to whenever they want to unlock them- it doesn't seem like there's any financial obligation to meet first.

Plus in all honesty, if they're just slicing up pre-existing Basius pads, I doubt it requires that much extra funding to make that happen.

For me at least, not owning any of the larger ones, this is pretty nice as I can pick and choose from a lot more variety than getting one large one that I might use a certain section of over and over.

The getting the word out thing is weird. I didn't read it until after I'd already put this up. Oh well. They can thank me later!

So a few designs have been unlocked. Supposedly the plan is that every 2 days they can unlock another set of 5. These have all been unlocked now, despite not being updated on the front page.
