Hi there I would like to ask if anyone else here have made the same thing that I am about to make. I am going to purchase a Terminator squad and I want to buy the Blood angels assault squad and paint them as Flesh Tearers(not going to use the banner of course). So I am asking, should I buy the Blood Angels or should I stick to the normal assault terminators?(I don't have a money issue right now so the price of the Blood Angels being more expensive is not an issue). Is it worth it on visual prospective or its not much of a deal?

Ultimately they're your models so you can do what you want, but typically, Flesh Tearers are presented as having less decoration than their parent chapter. They're also not big on using the winged blood drops and chalices in their iconography.

Depending on how good you are at freehanding more Flesh Tearer appropriate designs it may be better to get the plain terminators.

Just don't glue on some of the more decorative bits of the terminators and you should be fine but really it's your call.

I really like the blood angels terminators but as you said and you are right flesh tearers don't have all the shiny staff of the blood angles so I think I ll go for the normal assault terminators. Thank you for your time and the answers.

My impression with these guys are "More skulls, less blood tears.".
Getting perilously close to the "Blood for the blood Emperor!!!!".
I do seem to detect a markedly reduced amount of blood drops on their armor.
Maybe not to give them any ideas?
I believe the explanation for so much craftsmanship by the Blood Angles is for the troops to "zen" to keep the red or black rage at bay.
Flesh Tearers are down to only a few companies so they can "relax" by doing more work to make up for it.
