If you have been following along with this thread, you may have seen various lists with Lots of bikes and the Ork Stompa! Well.. it turns out that we are no longer allowed to use the old Custom Stompa for the tournament so, here is our take on an updated list:

Just a reminder: We are only allowed one guargantuan/super heavy per team and I think that people are well equipped to deal with Wraithknights by this point so not taking one may be an advantage? Also, we are allowed to take formations, however, they must be able to be taken within the slots of a CAD (so I could not take an Aspect host of 3 units of spiders as well as some hornets because that would have taken up more than 3 Fast Attack slots).

Eldar:
Spoiler:

Farseer on Skyrunner - 115 pts
Autarch with Warp Jump Generator, fusion Gun and Banshee Mask - 95 pts

3x Windriders with 3 Scatter Lasers - 81 pts
3x Windriders with 3 Scatter Lasers - 81 pts

Hornet with 2 Pulse Lasers - 80 pts
Hornet with 2 Pulse Lasers - 80 pts
5x Warp Spiders

Warp Hunter - 185 pts
Warp Hunter - 185 pts

- 997 pts

Tactics for Eldar: use the bikes for objective grabbing and supporting fire against low armoured vehicles or mass shots at infantry units while the Warp hunters bombard any enemy Super heavy or gargantuan/Land Raider (those sorts of targets) with the help of Guide and Prescience from the Farseer to help them not scatter and in turn 2, get the spiders and Hornets to arrive (with the help of the Autarch's reserve modification), shooting at rear armour of other vehicles or high value/armoured targets to allow the Orks to assault all the juicy goodness in the inside.

Orks:
Spoiler:

Painboy on Warbike - 75 pts
Zhadsnark 'Da Rippa' - 150 pts

10x Gretchin, Runthurd - 35 pts
14x Zhadsnark's Warbikers, plus Warbiker Nob with Power Klaw and Bosspole - 310 pts

9x Tankbustas in Gun Wagon with Reinforced Ram - 182 pts
9x Tankbustas in Gun Wagon with Reinforced Ram - 182 pts

2x Kustom Mega-Kannon and 2 Ammo Runt - 66 pts

- 1000 pts

Ork Tactics: Scout with the Bikers, Turbo-Boost them into enemy's deployment by turn 1, jink against enemy fire (2+ standard because Ork bikes and Skilled Riders, let alone if there was night-fighting) whilst the Gun Wagons move up, trying to get 2 points for first blood on a Tank of some sort or take out a Wraithknight with the st8 ap3 shots. The Gretchin sit on an objective in the Deployment zone along side the Mek Gunz who will also bombard some enemy units. The Bikers will charge by turn 2 after the Eldar firepower softens them up a bit or attempts to take out enemy firepower that would ignore cover. Hopefully, the enemy will be pre-occupied by the Ork bikes while the Eldar constantly bombard with strength D and strike from the flanks with their reserves.

Let us know what you think, what you would suggest changing and if you have any tactical advice!

i would drop the autarch and get some dedicated objective grabbing bikes without scatterlasers

the warpspiders are an excelent harrassing unit, but you should keep their costs down, so u're not wasting points. especially if you only got one unit and taken outside the aspect host

my advice on the orks would depend on how many CAD's you can take...

if its only one... i would go with a squighound for the gretchin, bombsquigs for the tankbustaz, kannonz for the wagonz and an outflanking gitburna trakk (great for grabbing late game objectives and disrupting/killing backline units)
you would have to drop one biker though

With 66 points you can get 2 deffkoptas and 2 more gretchin, or get more 1 tankbusta in each unit and 2 meks with rokkits; 1 for each gun wagon.

Definitely get 2 deffkoptas the twin linked rokkits and the movement speed is awesome.
