Here is the first painted rough rider from the first squad (they ride armored horses from the Empire Knights group). I went with a true metal bronze theme. I think it contrasts well with the dark mordian blue and black horse. If you care, I placed a bronze basecoat over black primer, then washed with druchi violet, re highlighted with bronze then put reflection on with a mix of bronze and gold (I tried a mithril silver and bronze and it was more silver than bright bronze). The horse is black over black primer with a coal black and then white with coal black mix. What do you think? Does the color scheme pop?

I think it's a acquired taste. I love the rider, armor came out nice, face mask is awesome, possibly do a different color so it stands out or the rest of the helmet a steel color? I dislike the horses hair color, maybe more of a black or make it stand out like white?
