So I'm working on a 1000pt list for my Guard. I would like some feedback from other Guard players in what has worked well for them or any possible changes they think would work maybe a little better.
I don't play guard but I play with someone who does and from what I understand, plasma will get you killed more often than it will your opponent, take meltaguns instead. Also, more wyverns are needed, or maybe a basilisk?
I'm not super experienced with guard but I will say something similar to above in regards to the plasma. If youre going to field 3x of them in a vet squad it may be worth the investment to make the Grenadiers and give them Carapace armour. At least that way you have a 50:50 chance if you do roll 1 than a 1\3 of saving.
