While very truncated, it is essentially a theme park with life like machines for people to live out their fantasies (in this case being in a western) but things go wrong, to put it mildly. The Gunslinger in particular is problematic. In the original film he was played by Yul Brynner.

Thanks. I'd be more interested in them doing Dark Tower for that Western/Sci-fi feel, but this could be interesting.

I'm pretty psyched about this. Anthony Hopkins is always amazing and suits the role perfectly, from what the trailer shows us. Ed Harris as the gunslinger? Also spot on.
