So I'm thinking of having another army sometime in the future, and I thought it would be cool if I could ally them with the Necrons but I don't know any good choices. plez halp

Necrons don't have any battle brothers but if you want to add physical then csm ml 3 sorcerer. I like changing it up with necrons by bringing some Orks to give more objective secured and non elite assault options. I don't play that competitively so this may not be relevant.

For allies you are looking for something to fill a hole, or enhance your army in an area. A Chaos sorc and some cultist can be a cheap way to add psychic powers to your army. Tau are trickier, because necrons do shooty pretty well, but if you ally in a riptide or some broadsides, it could enhance a CC focused necron army.

Constantly being negative doesn't make you seem erudite, it just makes you look like a curmudgeon.

Possibly even some eldar or Dark eldar for the maneuverability and speed over the board.

Facts are chains that bind perception and fetter truth. For a man can remake the world if he has a dream and no facts to cloud his mind.

Necrons can be just as maneuverable as Dark Eldar. You don't want them for that.

The one thing Necrons do lack, however, is anti-MC. Deathmarks are cool but they can't do the job quickly.
So there's always Wraithgaurd and Centurions for that.

Riptide wing. Two Canoptek Harvests. Pretty decent army I reckon...
