Hey everyone. Looking to use a basement bedroom 13X15 for a combination video-game warhammer table room for my 10 year old son and I. I'm trying to find ideas to theme the room, artwork, lighting, furniture, etc.. Has anyone seen or have ideas they can point me too?
Thanks!

There's a site, I think it's warhammerart.com or something to that effect, that sells official artwork. I don't really care for any of it, but Forgeworld sends a leaflet about it when you order something. Could be worth checking out.
As for furniture, bookcases/shelves to display your armies when not in use would be cool, and bump down the need for cases.

warhammer 40k or just warhammer?
You could do a space hulk scheme.
use plastic pallets as wall decorations

Very exciting! Looking forward to what replies you'll get - I'll definitely be following this thread - hopefully there's creative minds out there (given the nature of the hobby, there should be).
Do you save old parts of PCs or old televisions or other electric appliances? Take them apart and use the parts either on the wall or as part of the furniture. Paint the parts dark and metallic and let wires hang out odd places. This will make a grimdark atmosphere - much like the atmosphere from the Alien movies.

To me the Chaos Space Marines needed to be characterised as a threat reaching back to the Imperium's past, a threat which had refused to lie down and become part of history. This is in part why the gods of Chaos are less pivotal in Codex Chaos; we felt that the motivations of Chaos Space Marines should remain their own, no matter how debased and vile. Though the corrupted Space Marines of the Traitor Legions make excellent champions for the gods of Chaos, they are not pawns and have their own agendas of vengeance, empire-building vindication or arcane study which gives them purpose. |

You could easily do bulk heads or bunkers using MDF and make structural looking struts.
use plaster to make it look like concrete or just paint the wall grey.
mount your TV like a computer terminal or console
Make the gaming table like a war room with a rectangle light box above it.

Ikea has super cheap glass display shelves can scoop them up on eBay for cheap. If you are aiming for imperial looks try stained glass. Or something mimicking the look. Skulls skulls skulls!!!

If you're doing WH40K...and you're on a 40K General Discussion board, so I'll assume that's the case...get some hazard striping and some vinyl faux-metal diamond plating for the flooring and a some industrial style lighting fixtures to set a mood. As another poster said, some art really works as well, here's the link to WarhammerArt: https://warhammerart.com/
