Put this up at BGG also, but I thought you all might have some good advice also.

Background.
The wife and I are casual game enthusiasts who have really enjoyed the 3 LoTR Deckbuilding games. I'm looking to branch out a bit and noticed high command is quite affordable and I've always like the Iron Kingdoms art. We like the level of complexity of LoTR, but we also used to play MtG and we really like 7 Wonders so we're not totally unfamiliar with somewhat more complexity in out games.

So here's my questions:

1) Is it likely we'd find High Command to our liking?

2) Is the Warmachine, or Hordes version better?

3) Assuming I don't buy the booster expansions and just the core releases, are the Warmachine, Hordes, Faith and Fortune and Rapid Engagement decks relatively balanced against one another?

4) How complex is the game compared to MtG and LoTR deckbuilding?

Thanks!
