With Deathwatch Overkill out and really getting into small games and RPG, I'm torn with what to do with Deathwatch Marines. I don't know if I should true scale them or not. What are your thoughts? Here are a couple of examples of true scale Deathwatch marines that I would probably copy.

I plan to only use them for Kill Team and the Deathwatch RPG.

Deathwatch teams do lend themselves to a bit of true-scaling, you can really inject some personality into the models and when set alongside an Inquisitor or Guardsman they'll look very imposing indeed. However, whatever method you use, consistently up-scaling a squad will require a lot of effort, so make sure you're ready to commit to that.

Maybe to a test model first to see how long it'll take and how fiddly it is, then decide if you think it's worth that to continue that across the squad. I personally did one TS Marine as an experiment, and while it worked, I reached the conclusion it wasn't worth my time to do any more for the effect it conveyed.

Thanks.

The newer technquies seem to make it a lot eaier. The examples I've given are basically space marine bodies stuck on top of terminator legs.

The terminator legs had everything above the "belt" cut or trimmed off, and a body was stuck ontop.
