I like it, however why go cheapo Wulfen? IMO their base cost is too high for letting them be shot up. I'd go with 2-3 storm shields at least. The mounted characters I like, though I think they will die first. The barebones Long Fangs I don't like, but that's just personal preference. I guess you were short on points but I'd cut the bomb and make room for a meltagun. I see there's few room for cuts ..

IMO your typhoons are confused. MM want to get close missiles want to stand off and snipe. I would either go HB typhoons or 2 MM.

My thoughts on the Speeders:
Iron Wolves get free upgrades. Melta's are indispensable. Dual Melta's seems, for sure.
Typhoon, I'm *thinking*, aid in my lack of anti-hoarde, and also able tackle things with their dual S8 shots...
36" heavy bolters still drop their range... and really the speeders are an objectives trick as well as weapons platform, able to zip on over to a tricky spot and eat firepower from their ranks on a Jink save.
24" melta range seems decent on most situations, as I'll be pressing a bit closer. My two Razorbacks and the Pods will help me establish a bit closer of a footprint than traditional SM distancing. This can further support the speeders in providing additional targets to chew through.
Heavy Bolters are something I've done some heavy reading on... I'd played around with and purchased a Command + Vet + Chimera + Leman Russ (modeling as Valhallans), and in studying whether to go heavy bolters or heavy flamer it seems the hBolter is little more than a tickle, with a chance for explosively failed saves on my opponents end. A bolter, in the end.
Am I wrong in this? Do they provide something more meaningful in your games?
I had in the list a SS/TH wulfen, but in trying to fit in an Iron Priest found my points just over... I couldn't seem to find somewhere else to drop pts, unless losing the Relic or dropping the Wyrdstorm benefits from my Razorback squads.
I'm hoping that in providing IC's able to tank the front, via the Iron Priest and WGBL, I can mitigate fire - them being my shield. Not very fond of a lack of SS, but definitely I include them in larger lists. Automatically Appended Next Post: I've been thinking about them, these speeders seem like ANTI-MEQ assassins.
Able to wreck transports, even tough ones, then shoot using variety of weapons profile outside of marine range, then instant kill their characters when they whittle down with S8's.
I wonder how many turns it would take.

The Long Fangs, I understand are without any true purpose, or weaponry. The melta bomb is there for dropping on objectives in a campaign setting, like blasting the front door of an installation. I could throw 15pts on a weapon for the guy, but then they're so much bigger a priority and threat...
How are your experiences with paying hundreds of points into long fangs, with how easy they are to shoot down?

Often my Long Fangs actually last for the wholw game. They are ususlly down to one or two men but they make it quite often trough the entire game. The bigger problem is that they often enough fail to do any damage. Plasma cannons, Lascannons, Missile Launchers .. all garbage, the MVP are usually the heavy bolter guys.

Keep The Slayer or a Runic Armour Wolf Priest with your 'Fangs, gives them something to tank shots with a 4++ and 6+ FNP for the squad, Fearless so they don't run, Preferred Enemy will make Las Canons and Missile Launchers a bit more viable. There will still be that occasion when you roll all 2s but your 'Fangs will become that much better. On top of that they make it a great idea to pack the Ancient with a Plasma Gun.

So, running 3 'Fangs w/ HB & a 'Fang w/ Lascannon; an Ancient, and a Wolf Priest: 215pts.
6 models, 35pts each.
9x S5 shots: 7 hits, 4 wounds, 2 failed MEQ's.
Lascannon: typically hit, likely wound (or splitfire).
3 MEQ's per turn. 4 turns = 12.
They'd make their points back.
Mathematically, they're sound. Automatically Appended Next Post: I will play with a dual HB and dual Melta speeder next match, and see how they perform =)
I have (one of) every form of Long Fang model, ima try out as well some HB action, see how it performs.
I have won games on iron priests alone, 3 rocking a whole 1k points of a detachment, with no support. Throwing one in... man they're awesome. However lol that's the spare pts I've got to work with. So if need be, I'll swap for a Servitor and make it happen.
The WGBL for 60pts past cost becomes kinda nice. I am modeling him (if this list "sets") as an accompaniment to Bjorn, the Vader to the Emperor so to speak.
