Somewhere in south-central England.

12 hour queues, the camping grounds already a Western Front style quagmire.

There are some awesome acts appearing, though.

I have never been but I definitely would want to helicopter in and "glamp".

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

We'll find out soon enough eh.

Festivals are always gak when they get too large. That's not hipsterism or anything, just practically speaking - put that many people in one place without proper shelter and plumbing and the only people genuinely enjoying themselves(as opposed to convincing themselves they enjoyed themselves to avoid considering how much money and time they just wasted) are the folk out of their skulls on the happy tabs.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

"Your society's broken, so who should we blame? Should we blame the rich, powerful people who caused it? No, lets blame the people with no power and no money and those immigrants who don't even have the vote. Yea, it must be their fething fault." - Iain M Banks
-----
"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

Well, this will serve to remind me why I avoid Glastonbury.

I have no clue how Dakka's moderation work. I expect it involves throwing a lot of d100 and looking at many random tables.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.

Looks horrible but then I never "got it" and never will at my age.

Hope the weather improves and they have fun!

Honestly when 12hr queues and that level of mud are involved, it makes me wonder what cost does dignity have? Sleeping and pissing in your car and then standing in mess for the sake of music... I've been passionate, but I've never been make myself sick passionate.

Traveling up yesterday to Lego land for the day and hit a total locked road due to a bad smash up just before Stonehenge. Looked like a couple cars and van had hit a mini bus.

People and camping gear all over the place, looked like they all got out safe mind .

In typical British standard, go with far too much stuff.

Though the whole positive vibes, and stories i heard of people having fun in the traffic sounds cool. Not into the music there but getting muddy, drunk and generally having a messy time does look fun
