Hi, new the forums but could use some help tracking down a painting method I once saw.

Awhile back I stumbled across an article about someone who painted all his miniatures to mimic a marble/stone like look. It looked really cool and was almost like using marble chess pieces across the play mat. The reason I wanted to do this was to have nice looking miniatures that was easy to paint and create. If I remember correctly the painting method was made for speed painting.

Does anyone know a link that describes something like this method? Or seen something like this before? I can't find the article that I once stumbled upon.
