Looking to have this thing torn apart. I have to take and hold the middle ring in a escalation league. My 2 main competitors will be runnning Wraith Knight spam and Stormsurge spam. I have no stormsurge. I took the middle with a farsight retaliation cadre bomb, and was knocked out with the stormsurges and EWO completely destroying my turn 2 deployment but this time I am thinking of more dice. The league is random maelstrom and eternal war. so I have to be able to do any scenario from either.

This is list 1 I am considering. will have to defend middle bracket for 3 games, If i win and get in the middle. First game is against skyhammer and grav bikes. what weaknesses do you see in this list?

Strong list - like it a lot. I would strongly suggest freeing up some points to get bs2 overwatch on your ghost keels. Drop a single stim injector and you could get 3 missile drones (or more pathfinders) for your broadsides and 2 (i forget the system name) bs 2 overwatch systems for the keels. I think overall it will get you more mileage IMO.

However on second thought I would advice against this list vs WK or SS spam. I think a contingent would work better against these lists specifically because it specializes in bringing down single targets.

What model is your Warlord?

Unfortunately with this list, the Warlord has to be one of the Shavres in the stealth squad

BS2 overwatch isnt a bad Idea. I could make that work. If I drop the Shasvres in the stealth unit, I could pull it off.

If I drop the Shavres I can make a riptide my warlord.

Update. Game played on Sunday. Won in an eternal mission #1. I actually felt kinda bad I killed warlord and 2 grav bike units turn 1 shooting. I wen't second and all he ended up killing was 1 broadside, and I passed leadership.

Turn 2 he got all reserves in and failed his charges. I then whittled him down further. I must say this list was very devestating, but this opponent choose targets poorly. Against a different player, this could have been way worse, but I feel like I could have still gone toe to toe. I used Stealth troops to hold 2 objectives and won on points outright.

Dawnblade is no longer my go to.
