Painting my rough riders. I am doing mostly black horses highlighted with coal black. Some are Piebald. Anyway, a horses fur is actually slightly shiny, is a varnish or equivalent the best method? Anyone have some ideas? There are pics in my gallery, linked her (I already posted the finished product so don't want to be seen as a repeater...

I never forget the Dakka unit scale is binary: Units are either OP or Garbage.

I'd probably use a satin varnish coat on them, I think.

If it doesn't work out how you'd like you can always matte varnish over it.

Haha finally the perfect use for new gw 'gloss' washes. I've been trying to find a use for them, they're too weird for me.
