OK so the new FAQ says Psychic Shriek automatically hits it's target, along with any witchfires that lack a shooting profile. But what does that do with Jink, does the no rolling no shooting if you Jink apply, or is it ignored due to the whole target unit so no roll ever needs to take place argument occur?

It's like they made a FAQ to create more FAQS. . .

I am for the Jink doesn't effect it side, but this seems like it could go either way.

It ignores cover and armour. Jink is pretty irrelevant. For other non-profile witchfires where cover is relevant, you ask if your opponent would like to jink. There, problem solved.

You cannot snap shot something Which hits automatically.

Pretty much this. In other words, if you can only fire snap-shots, you cannot fire a weapon that hits automatically.

This works that same way as hitting a FMC. The "hard to hit" rule makes you snap-fire, so Shriek cannot be fired, even though it hits automatically.

I was about to pitch a similar inquiry about units "shaken" inside a transport and thus forced to snapfire.

The general consensus is that no auto witch fires, like some Focused Witch fires, can be fired due to not being a snapshot, correct?

Anything that automatically hits cannot be used during a snap fire.
