I just tried to place an order, but there seems to be a problem with the payment system. Trying to pay by PayPal just gives an error, and trying to pay with my debit card takes me to a screen that says I don't have clearance to access that screen.

If you're talking about CommBank that was only temporary and was meant to have lifted earlier this morning.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices. |

I'll just post what I posted in the other thread.... Hopefully for people wanting to buy FW stuff the GBP keeps falling and actually makes it worthwhile but at this point you aren't going to save a hell of a lot of money compared to having bought something over the past 6 months or so. AllSeeingSkink wrote:The average for May was 1.45USD, which is a saving of only 5.5% at the current rate of 1.37. The averages over the past few months... Jan 1.440257 Feb 1.429990 Mar 1.426061 Apr 1.430589 May 1.451924 Jun 1.435555 .... But actually you're only 5.5% better off now than you were in May, and only about 4.2% compared to preceding months. I don't know about you guys, but a ~5% discount really isn't enough to get me off my arse and buy something I wasn't going to buy anyway. If I'm spending $100, saving $5 is nice but not really going to affect my decision at all. The Brexit drop came off the back of a couple of weeks of a strengthening pound, and has dropped us back to the level it was before it started rallying. Since the middle of 2014 the pound ranged from a high of 1.72USD and gradually dropped to 1.37 in Feb this year. Brexit dropped us back to that level, now we can wait and see if it falls further or continues to rally.

If 5%
Roughly 50-60 pounds at least.
Its about 1200 and that's about 60 off.
If 10% and things crash lower 120 tp 120 +
But bank of England are ready to brace economy so don,t expect a 50% off "sale"

You should check with your CC company what the exchange rate is going to be, as the rate is dropping but I'm not sure how quickly the rate updates for us average joes. At the moment the rate is 1.32, it's kept falling today so as time goes on it's been better and better. A Warlord Titan is 1250GBP, so if you bought it 6 months ago (Jan) it would have cost $1800USD. If you had bought it in March, it would have been $1782. If you bought it over the weekend, it would have been $1712. If you bought it not long after the market opened today, it would have been $1675. If you bought it right now, it'd be $1650. But that is dependant on what exchange rate your bank or CC company would give you. Don't assume just because the pound has fallen in the past few hours that your bank has updated the rate they'll give you.
