I have a Dunecrawler.
I am wanting to run it with the Icarus Array.
Since all of those weapons have Skyfire, that means that I fire all those weapons at BS1 at ground targets. Correct?
So is that set up only good for shooting at fliers or does it stand a chance at shooting at ground?

It has enough shots that you will hit something, but not enough to make it worth the points. It's worth magnetizing so that you can switch the weapons around.

I do have it magnetized.
I want a list with some AA, but I dont want to give up ground capabilities.

The two best weapons are the Neutron Laser and Icarus Array. Icarus Array is godly for AA and decent for AG. Neutron is very good at AG.

Peregrine - If you like the army buy it, and don't worry about what one random person on the internet thinks.

You still get eight shots (with two being twin linked), all with a similar profile aside from AP. Against a strictly ground based enemy I do not think there is any benefit over the Neutron Laser/Heavy Stubber, but it does still fire at normal BS against Skimmers. It will also not benefit from the Doctinas against ground enemies, so that could negate a good bit of your turn one damage if you go for +3 BS. If you have the points it is a solid all around pick, but since it is magnetized you could always play it on a game to game basis. IA is the best anti-air option for Skitarii (obviously given limited selection), and they are not hurting on killing power against infantry; Making it a good choice if you suspect fliers.

My favoured load out is the icarus, i pack enough hay wire to deal with tanks but skimmers/speeders & flyers are a pain due to speed and jinks. So it fills a hole in my defences/offence.

Thanks for the input gang. I think I will try to get some haywire into my mix with the IA.
