A buddy of mine(Lets name him Matt(oh wait)) wants to know if the lyanden supplement is still playable with the current Eldar/7th Edition rules?
I sent GW's a email, but thats like asking a corpse who's its voting for.

I personally think its fine and no one would bat an eye but then again I think Wyches are fine.
So I wanted too ask you lot what ya think?

Would you flip the table if someone was using this supplement or continue with your game

The new gak stain on the block.

GW has already stated that non-current supplements and older editions of codexes are still valid for play given opponent permission. They also advised that some older rules and units might need to be agreed upon as how they currently work if they aren't compatible with the current game.

Which is to say, go for it.

Back when the Eldar codex was released for 7th edition, GW said that Iyanden was no longer usable (which was stupid because no tweaking was needed). In the draft FAQ, as jeffersonian000 pointed out, GW has said it's OK.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Well, one technical tweaking was necessary, and that's basically the references to Codex: Eldar had to be changed to Codex: Craftworlds, but that could be nitpicking.

Are you a Wolf, a Sheep, or a Hound?
