Hello fellow gitz, this is my first attempt at an OnG all comers list which will be used in friendly games. Normally I just make a list specific to the army I'll be fighting but since my war gaming group has quite a few armies I figured I would give it a shot. The main thing for this list is that I really want to field an Arachnarok. Thanks everyone and I'm looking forward to your thoughts, tips, and battle ideas with this list
Lords
Warboss Bouldersmash da Impatient (Black Orc Warboss)
-Gold Sigil Sword
-Enchanted Shield
-Talisman of Preservation
-Potion of Strength
Night Goblin Great Shaman
- Lvl 3
-Dispel Scroll
Heroes
Black Orc Big Boss
-Shield
(Animosity Babysitter)
Orc Big Boss
- BSB
-Dragonhelm
-Shield
Core
Night Goblins x50
- FC
-Fanatics x3
-Netters
-Spears
Orc Big 'Uns x24
- FC
-Add HW
-War Banner
-Warboss in Unit
Orc Boyz x24
- FC
-Add HW
-Blorc Big Boss in unit
Special
Black Orcs x17
- FC
-Gleaming Penant
Rare
Arachnarok
Doom Diver
List comes out to 1997 points. Please feel free to let me know if you see a more efficient magic item build for any of the characters because that isn't really my strong point. Thanks again

You have next to nothing to avoid being chaffed up, maybe that sort of thing doesn't happen in your friendly meta but somebody with a few cheap units could ensure you have a hard time getting the combats you want.
I would suggest dropping the smaller Orc blob and their baby sitter to get yourself some units that can not only battle chaff but also be chaff themselves. Wolf Chariots are excellent at chaff clearing due to M9, impact hits and being cheap and fairly durable themselves. Also will do wonders against Elves who give your Orcs a hard time.
2 Units of Wolf riders with just bows is a small investment that will regularly win you games. Orc blobs are slow, and as such cannot choose their combats too well. So moving up with the Wolf riders allows you to make the charge with your blob while Wolves redirect possible flank charges.
Your BSB is badly under protected, he deserves at least a 2+ Sv considering how important he is. I believe armour of silvered steel provides that? Also consider ruby ring of ruin on the Shamen, another magic missile helps clear chaff and force dispel dice.
These changes should help make it a more rounded list and would allow you to take more comers then you could currently.

Sorry I should have mentioned which armies are played in my group to help with suggestions. My fellow players use Dwarves, Bretonnians, Warriors of Chaos, Beast Men, Lizardmen, Ogre Kingdoms, and Tomb Kings.
Thanks for the advice ! I have actually thought about using wolf riders instead of the orc boyz. So is arming the wolf riders with bows is the best option?

Choppa of Striking is a better buy.
Get multiple level 1's.
Or a level 4 with Opal Amulet to saves against the first miscast

Combine these two. Blorc BSB makes sense.
Netters dont work well. This is an expensive unit, by the time you have added all the extras. You might as well take more orcs.
Choppa and shield is better
Choppa and shield is better.
Good unit, but yopu need mobility, I would take boar boyz instead.
This bit is ok.

Alternatively a very powerful unit is a large unit of Savage Orc Big'uns with additional hand weapons lead by a Savage Shamen with shrunken head. The whole unit has a 5+ ward and the front 10 models get 3 St 5 attacks each, a 3 row horde putting out 50. One of the best ways to spend core points on a combat block in the game. I disagree with multiple level 1's, since your army is so compact anyhow I can't see multiple level 1's forcing the right spells through. And your Goblins are undeniably expensive, however they are ripe for Gift of the Spider God.
Maybe consider dropping the Goblin unit down to 30 models and upping the Big'uns to at least 30 with Savage Orcs. Despite Frenzy they are one of the hardest hitting core units in the game.

Alex. I can agree with the savage orc big'uns and shrunken head. It is a commonly fielded unit, but I didnt autorecommend because it would apply the cookie cutter too much.
The reasojn to takev multiple level 1's is because you can afford to go to town on shrooms. Night gobbo shamen are ridiculouskly undercosted, who cares how crap the stats are, its the spells you are after. Level 1's can also be specifically positioned to apply the role of their spell, and you can suicide rush and miscast up a nasty spell if you so desire without worries. Its only a gobbo, so chwing shrroms and maxing out spell dice on Bad Moon after rushing out of a unit into the open to do so is worth it. The gobbo does, who cares, you get the nasty spell off. Do this far enough away from your own golbin units and nobody needs to care about the panic, orcs will just find it funny when he explodes from the miscast + mushrooms or gets eaten by Khorne. It will be a big laugh.

Unfortunately I do not have any Sorcs, mainly because I personally never liked the idea of them. I will combine the Blorc and BSB. As for my block of big un's I figured more attacks are better than a 5+ save / parry save.

I dont have any savage orcs either, for the same reason. They dont seem to fit.
Somehow orcs are a get along homogenous bloc despiter animosity, wheras savage orcs and regular orcs are a different as Empire and Bretonnians. They ought to be different factions IMHO. It Total War Warhammer they are, and its an example as the new de facto custosians of old world fluff are doing an immeasurably better job than GW.
Drunk Orcs.
Savage orcs are effective though. You could replicate them with 6th edition boxset orcs which have two choppas and light armour, and look suitably deranged. Add a regular shaman and have them counts as savage orcs. You can explain that away because in the game rules it wont make a blindest bit of difference and you can get away with calling the 6++5++ the result of 'wyvern hide' light armour worn by the unit.. They could also be wasted on squig beer which accounts for frenzy.

I would agree with Alex is awesome's post about gaining some wolf chariots which would allow your force to have more speed and some anti-chaff/chaff

That is exactly what I do, using those models. I fluff the 5++ ward as being the 40K Feel No Pain save, the big un's are so frenzied they don't feel wounds that would kill them. Savage Orcs are brutally effective, bringing 3 Str 5 attacks each on the first turn of combat while the 5+ ward is actually one of the better saves in the Orc book. But I would stress how important it will be to include some fast or chaff clearing elements in your army. Some Spider/Wolf riders, a chariot or two, some cheap Goblin Kings decked out with good saves on Wolves or a Manglar squig or two. Considering the kind of force you have, you *need* the ability to funnel the opponent into the middle of the board rather then flank denying and the only way you can do that is if you win the flanks. Orcs and Goblins are very good at winning the flank, the Gargantula is fast enough to win a flank on her own and chariots/Goblin Heroes or Lords on Wolves can win the other, but as you are now people could just advance up one flank and take maybe a third of your army out the game due to lack of manoeuvrability.

I like it your way Alex. Drunk orcs (with shaman) gaining 5++ FNP and frenzy is simpler and makes more sense.
Everything is due to the beer, no secondary magicks. The shrunen head simply becomes a keg the shaman carries signifying that the ladz are extra tanked up.
A suitable keg can be found from the Leadbelchers sprue.
