40+ views no responses. Same stuff happens to my space wolves list post.
I don't know if people here just hate SWs or don't care about them enough to reply to anything.
You not a fan of Thunderwolves or just trying to put a list together not using them?

I really like the style of the list but it has elements (like the dreadnoughts) that are really slow and may not be able to make it into combat. I know it might not be as fluffy, but what about dropping the wolf scouts to pay for the points for buying drop pods for all of your dreadnoughts. That way you can get 3 drop pods first turn, and if you reserve your storm wolf hopefully it can come in turn 2 with the rest of your drop pods. Depending on your enemy you could drop in your grey hunters or dreadnoughts first. It would make your list a lot more versatile and cohesive. Also think about changing the heavy bolter on the storm wolf to a multi-melta to take out tanks.

I know they have alot of potential and they should be good. Its just that i have never actually seen them preform to what they should be at.

Thank you honestly i was thinking about doing just that. but was worried about lack of anti air capabilities.

Get Drop Pods for the Dreadnoughts and special weapons for the packs. Play Brethren of the Fell Handed. Drop the scouts. Then your list seems kinda well rounded.

Going pods for the dreadnoughts means you'll be unable to go the dreadnought formation.
If you are truly interested in running the triple dreadnought, two being Shield Dreads, escorting Bjorn, then it'd be quite nice! No one can target Bjorn until getting throught those two dreads at the front of the unit first... nice.
A third of your lists points are HQ - ouch! And fun! Be very careful!
Flakk seems never worth it, instead definitelg get the MultiMelta's on your Stormwolf!
Also, put some melta or plasma in those GH's hands, they're itchin for firepower

Do they actually stop Bjorn being shot? I wouldn't have thought they block LOS.

Well you titled it with 'fun' and not ITC tournament so that puts a lot of people off I think lol. 'Fun' is pretty much the equivalent of 'bad' for most people.
Stupid question. If his dreadnoughts all have drop pods, and he removes the scouts, than whats on the board if he goes second?

Its when the turn ends thay the check is determined whether or not he's tabled. Its ok to go second.
The dreadnoughts within the formation (Bjorn and two dreads) are a Squadron. If shots are fired at this Unit, then the shots are automatically hitting the models closest to those firing. so, the two shield dreads stand in front of Bjorn, and he's perfectly safe til at least one if not both dreads are dead.
This formation may NOT use drop pods, as it must remain within 4" coherency at all times. At -all- times. Automatically Appended Next Post: Preferred enemy via Ulrik and 15 bloodclaws, coming out of a Stormwolf, many play this way. Not my preffered but definitely popular.
Expensive models, pts wise, but doable.
I've run 4 pods with a rune priest in each. It works. Terrible at killpoints, however by going the formation then there'd only be 11 killpoints which isn't bad...
All the pods land in place where he wants.
The formation runs forwards for potentially turn 2 assault.
Lots of psyker happenings.
Eventual BC assault via Stormwolf.
Not too bad
Not tourney but definitely flavorful.
