There isn't a unit in this list that is bad. except maybe the solo warlock giving up slay the warlord automatically.
The Firebase should be a riptide wing - it does the deep strike denial job better - is more mobile - harder to kill - and in the end just does more damage.
Mix and match scat and shuriken on your bikes? NO - just give them all scatter lasers - there is no reason not to.

I agree that the RT wing is more mobile, but definitely doesn't put out more firepower that 6 broadsides. That's crazy talk.

I disagree on mixing Shuricannons & Scatters. I've been doing it for months now and it is fantastic. The only time I have wish for all Scatters is against Gladius Rhino spam, but with all the MissleSide in the OP's list, Scatters are less needed. 1 Scatter laser allows you to keep the bikes lower on the priority list, while still having potency turn 1. Once you get into 24" range, Bladestorm is just wonderful. Having said that, it looks like the OP meant ShuriCATS, not cannons. This could be a simple points issue. You want the bodies without making them less useful. This list is definetly competitive, but isn't fully optimized. I'd call this list a "Wanna win, but keep my friends" list --

Galef,
Yes Shuriken Catapults not Shuriken cannons. My resoning for spreading them out is the "all the eggs in one basket" thing. And all I am REALLY using them for is ObSec. They're too flimsy for serious offense (like mall-walking marines). Lol.
I kinda feel like there is a 36" circle of death in the midfield / backfield that you dare not enter. Only real protection though is the WK... that's scarey....

Yes, and having the WK and the Firebase all on the landing pad is brutal. I suggest placing the Warlock in Reserve to avoid Slay the Warlord.
Another option you might be interested in is fielding your bikes like this:
1x ShuriBike 2x ScatBike
2x ShuriBike 1x ScatBike
2x ShuriBike 1x ScatBike
3x ShuriBike.
Keep the last unit in reserve to objective grabbing only. The unit with 2 Scatters focuses fire on soft targets. The other units are support.

Wasnt thinking of WK on Skyshield? It should already have 4++ with Scattershield right?

Problem with broadsides is range. If they got to shoot 3-4 times a game you would be right but usually they are heavily focused and aren't relentless so their ability to do damage to things your opponent doesn't want you to shoot are limited. I use them in a lot of games but when I do they are on a tide-wall rampart in a ranged support cadre (sometimes the rampart isn't needed but double marker light value from the formation makes moving and shooting not as big a deal), or deep striking with relentless in the retribution cadre.
Riptide wing on the other hand is near impossible to kill at ranged without D weapons. For game purposes has unlimited range with the ION accelerator and has mobility when it needs it AND has stationary firepower when you need it too. 6 STR 9 ap 2 ordnance shots is hyper deadly stuff.
IMO max scatters on bikes and swap riptide wing for the broadside formation.
I do see now that you were talking about stock bikes and not shuri-cannons. I'd say this is a nice gesture to your opponents but it's also not ITC competitive. A 10 point relentless heavy weapon that can be spammed - should be spammed in a competitive environment. Drop from 12 bikes to 9 and take heavies on each. It's way more effective - don't take my word for it - just do the math.

Sorry, I saw WK and auto-assumed Wraithcannon. Scattershield is only a 5++ for the WK (it's 4++ for WraithBlades)
In that case nevermind, deploy everything but the WK on the Landing Pad.
An interesting note about models on the Landing pad with shield up: if you are far back enough, enemy models on the ground cannot see you. Use the bikes JSJ to move up to see a target, then move back to be hidden. I really need to make an Eldar Landing Pad

@ Xenomancers,
So I redid the list as you suggested, and I still think I would prefer the broadsides in a competitive environment. Mainly because of the significant mid-field "area of denial". Here's my remade list:
As you can see I've dropped 6 Missile Sides and gained the 2 Riptides and their accompanying cool rules. Also I have lost the Skyshield and half of the SMS (which is exceptional vs the pesky podded marines or warp spyders. As you pointed out, I have gained 6 ScatBikes, but I just don't think they are very survivable TBH. There's another list that I came up with with all shuribikes and 2 riptides in the FBC, but I felt that it suffered with poor leadership and less defense.
Do you feel this list is that much better than the FBC?

For my money. Riptide wing is better. But you want all HBC with SMS. Because the Hail of Fire turn where you put out 72 Str 6 rending shots plus 24 str 5 ignores cover shots is devastating. The real advantage the riptides have over the broadsides: manoeuvrability. If your facing scat bikes on the other side then the broadsides can't move and then shoot properly. They are not relentless. This will count against them. The scat bikes even things up for this match up. But possibly not enough. Also, when you lose one broadsides they will run away over half the time. The Lynx isn't as good as a pair of warp hunters. And in fact, with the hornets in the list, you probably one need one warp hunter and you can then take more bikes.
