As I'm building up a Sons of Horus force for 30k, I have come across the as it seems pretty common problem of getting jump packs. I want to build a Reaver squad but at the moment I can't afford buying a 5 man squad extra just for the jps so I need to look for another way.

I love the look of the old metal Raptor jump packs and was pretty sad to see them go especially as FW could have made them official for one of the older armour mks.
I know I could get fc csm lord with jp and multiply his but I have never done things like this before and if somebody could explain it to me or point me to a simple tutorial I would be really grateful.
Also there doesn't seem to be any tutorials for converting them which seems kinda odd as I can't be the only one who really likes the look of these things.

Playing mostly Necromunda and Battletech, Malifaux is awesome too!

Somewhere in south-central England.

Are you asking how to duplicate the official jump pack, or how to convert one of your own and duplicate it?

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

My phone norway'd me

I'm asking if someone knows a cost-efficient way to get some jump packs that looks close enough to the original

Converting would be my preferred method as I wouldn't have to get into duplicating if the conversion is practical.

Playing mostly Necromunda and Battletech, Malifaux is awesome too!
