I just wanted to know for sure - there is a thought around my parts that once you use a super glue tube (the new mini ones from GW) that you have to toss out the rest after one use, since the pack comes with multiple. I believe the thought is that the glue will bind to the cap? In any case, is there any reason to not use half of one of these mini tubes one day, and then the next half of the following week, for example?

It isn't "fluff" - it's lore.

I use tubes like those anyway, just keep using them until either the cap gets stuck or it runs out. If it gets stuck I wouldn't try too hard to get it off cause you could accidentally get the glue on your hands and it's annoying.

I guess I will be suspended for doing that, but I'm gonna do it anyway.

Shred City.

How about just wiping off any spillage/runoff when you're done applying some?

You have a napkin at your hobby table anyway - why not just wipe the mouth of the tube clean quickly, so the lid doesn't stick?

Been doing this for 10+ years and I've never glued a lid to the tube because I'M NEAT.

Assuming he's gluing plastic, sure.

Not as helpful for metal or resin miniatures.

On the mini-tubes, assuming that they seal ok, there's no specific reason to throw them away after a single use. Having said that, I've bought similar mini-tubes from another company that really didn't seal well... They're pretty much designed as a one-shot thing.

So even assuming you're for some inexplicable reason buying GW glue rather than one of the much, much better priced and better quality alternatives, I would steer away from these things in favour of 'normal' sized glue tubes.
