Subject: 1,500pt Video Battle Report - Tau VS. Dark Angels
It's Monday and it's July 4th! Happy Holiday or happy random day in July depending upon where you live! What better way to celebrate either than with a brand-new Glacial Geek Battle Report! https://youtu.be/96Y22BuCZmA This week the Dark Angels take on the Tau! When the Greater Good decides to reinforce their position on an Imperial planet, the Dark Angels respond. Purging the Alien should be done as quickly as possible, especially when they are digging in. Best to send in a fast force to respond to the Tau. Will the Unforgiven be able to run the xenos to ground, or will the Tau be able to establish themselves on this planet? Watch and find out!

That game was certainly closer than it looked like it would be considering the Tau guy had 2 Y'vahras and a Stormsurge! I think you were right that locking down the Stormsurge was the gamebreaker. Super fun batrep!
My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):

The Grotsnik Corp Bump Feelerer 9,000. It only looks like several bricks crudely gaffer taped to a cricket bat.

Thank you! Yeah for some reason my battles against him are super close! We fought in a tournament this weekend and our game went 7 turns and came down to two clutch 4+ saves! Love close games :-D

Your batreps are awesome, always enjoyable and you have a great demeanour when playing games. You seem like you're always enjoying yourself even if you're losing or something really bad happens to your guys. Keep up the great work man!
Quick note, if you could zoom out and show us the field once in a while, that'd be awesome. Something I see in a lot of video batreps. Always being zoomed in to the action makes it a bit disorienting, especially if the camera keeps refocusing.
Looking forward to more of your work.
Cheers!

Thank you very much! I like to take the making of the battle reports seriously, but with the understanding that it is a game to be played and that fun is meant to be had :-) ... Glad you enjoy them because that's what I hope to do with them!
And I will keep that in mind ... Maybe between rounds I can show an overview or something ... I'll figure something out :-)
