So the Dark Shroud gets a 4+ jink, but it is also stealth and shrouded. Since jink counts as a cover save, does this mean with Stealth and Shrouded my cover save goes down to a 1+ but is really a 2+ since you know, you cant have 1+ rolls?

To many unpainted models to count.

That would be right. Good thing is anything that reduces your cover save (I believe Auspex does this by -1) would still give you a 2+.

Also, apologies for being pedantic, it's 1+ saves you can't have, as well as 1+ FNP (as per the draft FAQ, if memory serves- correct me if I'm wrong) . I only point this out because there is a rule that comes to mind, and it isn't a save, that can essentially auto-pass rolls (BotO).

If I sound like I'm being a condescending butthole, I'm not. Read my reply as neutrally as possible, please and thank you.

Yeah exactly i know there is no such thing as a 1+ anything, but i was just a little taken back by the fact i would confer a 2+ rerollable jink to a vehicle and bike units with in 6 inches of it.

Seems like a nasty combo to have one of those with a ravenwing command squad.

Remember that the Darkshroud does not benefit from it's Stealth aura - It works in the Support Squadron rule as the other speeders get Stealth but the whole unit benefits if even one model in the unit has Stealth.

This still means a 2+ re-rollable Jink, but does mean it'll go down to a 3+ against an Auspex.

Wouldn't it give stealth to the speeders...then apply stealth back to itself due to it being in the same unit?

Yes, that's what Quanar is saying in that it works in the Support Squadron because Stealth's benefit applies to "A unit that contains at least one model with this special rule..." meaning the other members of the unit would effectively reflect the Stealth benefit back onto the Darkshroud.

Against an Auspex though I think it would remain a 2+ Jink as you would have a +3 modifier to the 4+ Jink save from Stealth and Shrouded, with a -1 modifier from the Auspex.

This is also true, one draw back to having a 2+ rerollable lol
