I was messing around and came up with this.

Kasrkin w/ Hell Rifle + Grenade Launcher Barrel + Flamer Tanks = Melta-Gunner

Tell me if it looks okay.

I would say they are still more like Flamers.

Although fluff wise you could say they have some kind of superfuel, reaching temperatures which can melt through armour.

It's a nifty conversion though.

I just used Cadian melta gunners with new heads, and some GS thigh armour for mine when I needed more than the original 2 I had.

(although I did have a couple of the actual kasrkin meltagunners as well).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

The gun looks fine, but instead of tanks some sort of high tech power pack would be good, even just an marine back pack with the vents trimmed can work.

Maybe split the tanks in to single tanks and mount them horizontally lower down on the back.

I'm kinda getting a thermic lance vibe....

In that case you need to paint one tank green (oxygen) and the other red (fuel gas) - welders will get it
