Hey all, this might be something I'm just not aware of but while building my dark Angels list on battle scribe I noticed relics cost 5 puts more for a lib in terminator armor, then a lib on a bike.

IE foe smiter is 15 pts on the bike and 20 on the terminator.

Is this normal? Or is there a typo on these relics? Don't have the codex on me and I'm not aware that relics cost more of the type of unit equipping it.

I've just had a try, and I can't seem to replicate the problem.

Relics that are weapons require you to replace one of the model's existing weapons. A librarian in terminator armour only comes with the one weapon (Force Weapon). The 5 points may be the program adding a stormbolter automatically, but it doesn't seem to do that when I try.

So a lib in term armor only comes with a melee weapon and nothing in the left hand.

Are you suggesting the term lib makes the foe smiter cost 20 pts because it's adding the storm bolter, then replacing it with the foe smiter for 15?

If that's the case why can a lib on a bike, who comes with only a melee weapon can equip the foe smiter for 15

Some more Information, the term is In a deathwing strike force and the bike is in a raven wing strike force

NVM i Figured it out, i know where the extra 5 points are coming from. Crisis averted.

As the data author I can say - that is exactly the reason.
Relics require you to exchange a weapon. Libbys in TDA do not come with a ranged weapon, so you purchase the stormbolter to swap it, assuming you do NOT want to trade in your unique, free Force Weapon.
If a Bikerlibby has the same issue, he should indeed pay the 5 points tax as well.

Biker libby doesn't trade out the bolt pistol that they start with when taking a bike (which the termi libby does when buying the termi armour), so he wouldn't have the same problem.
