Just because I would love to do it...... how can I field all the tech priest and tech marine in an army with ad , ech or dominus mainple? Regardless of how it would preform could I make an army with these models just so I cam use the models I love the most and spent all my effort painting in one list to batlle for the hell of it.

The list should have

Tech priest dominus w skitarii or ad mech as the main body of the army because this is my main army and most of my models are skitarii or ad mech.

Ironpriest ...... maybe riding a critter or with thralls

Engineseer .............. don't know what to do here

Tech marine ........ servitors?

Tech marine/priest ........ servitors w/ plasma or arms

Knight?

Any suggestions will be appreciated because I am a newbie and habe no idea if I could even do thus.
I love all of the tech marinr or priest models and try to collect them and paint all of them, now I want to play them in the same army. It will be worth hearing the response to this awesome army at the locak game day.
Please help with ideas

You can ally in a lot of these guys. You could convert an iron priest riding a mechanical spider or something as a counts as thunderwolf to fit in with the theme of mechanicus. All the other options could easily be on foot forming a unit or joining others. Servitors and vanguard come to mind. Would also be a good idea to have some vehicles for these guys to repair, the knight would be perfect

Can independant characters join an allied list by themselves? Like the engineseer? Is a tech marine an ind. Character? How does this work with characters and allies.

I am going to put iron priest on a mount, with 4 cyber critters standing as wolves.
I have an allied space marine force idea that will use thunder wolf cav as its rules.
They will ride some awesome mounts I am working on, pics coming...

Also making an allied guard unit to match theme of army... as a side question , could I put the engineseer with the chicken walker formation they have?

Tech marine will have thralls, still figuring out how to slot him in. Maybe with other space marines I'm converting but on foot with a cannon or thralls

And wouldn't tech priest and marines or any adept be able to repair any of the units skitarii or ad mech have? purley from a fluff standpoint, should they not act like apothecaries or painboyz of the ad mech? Justsaying

2 10 man vanguard plain with alpha done up in goodies

2 donkytank 1 icarus, 1 erad. Beamer, both w t-rex arms. Scanners

10 ruststalkers

A small guard unit of somekind. Would like to use the walker formation but agin no idea on points

Tech marine thrown in somewhere...... still puzzling it out

Anyway I know its kind of silly but hey, I just want something unique and fun to play.

Use a thunderfire cannon it comes with a techmarine operator and it's great. I'm sure there is a Thunderfore cannon formation out there as well.
