Hello, hope your having a nice day.

I am building a proper waagh and need a few models.

96 gore gruntas
195 brutes
260 ard boyz

Here is the problem, no matter how I crunch it I cant get the brutes to look different after 50ish.....

Brutes are almost exactly the same size ect as black orks BUT they are ard bouz and after about 100 they start all looking the same....

What are some good stand ins? That would not be.... A problem...... Like say savage orks but they are suppose to get a book so there goes that..

Any 40k models not to sifi looking?

I need to go to work every day.

Wait, you already assembled more than a 100?? Jeez...

Well, I wand to tell you that with those kind of numbers, it doesn't matter if some of them look alike, nobody is going to notice. Plus, if you do weathering and/or markings on the armors, you can make it different for all of them.

I didnt build a 100 yet I only got 45 :( but I made a unit of 9 with the double handed thing 9 with the claw. I need 2 more boxes so I can get 10 of each.

But what I ment was soon as I hit 100ish there is not a single head variant with that weapon pose ect that will not be the same as atleast 2 others. :( So It would be a army of triplets lol.

I find a great way to make similar miniatures look different is simply to have some on a different height base or standing on stumps or rocks.

What? No 10 Maw Krushas also? Disappointed

Is this for a large diorama? Or a single 12 hour game?

I love and own lots of ironjawz, but with the limited amount of units they have (sticking to pure ironjawz) I couldn't see wanting even close to that many. Pre tax that's spending 5,379 USD on 3 different types of models.

But to answer. Squad markings. They could all be a certain group, way the ones in yellow armor, but some might have red understones on parts, while some have blue.

Also there are many bits let over. Attach the extra weapons as something to look different

It is a diaroma, I usually pick one army and spend... Alot on it lol. My last one was ogres before AoS hit and I sold most of it. I am currently working on eldar aswell, got my phantom almost done painted.

On the iron jaw front
I am hoping to adventually make the whole iron jaw waagh... To an extent, in the book they mention megaboss which leads a brawl which is 5 fists. So I am going the very minimum.

So in short if they do not update them to quickly and nothing crazy happens I will have this list 5 times which which would be the whole ironjaw waagh.

Which will be 60 brute fists
30 gore fosts
40 ard fists
30 weird fists
Oh this one is Iron Sunz so they are lead by grotkicker and his maw necksnapper and I will need a megaboss on a boar to go with the gore grunta fist.
I picked 5 megaboss clans from the battletome to paint them in.

But I am a collector for the full armies and the book added whats in the army so I am doomed. I added it to the blog it should take me roughly two years lol.

Wow, as a collector, the OP wants it all! That's a lot of Ironjaws for AoS.

The biggest game I've played was 200 wounds, and that was like 50 models of Sig-Mah-Renes. I haven't seen or played a game of AoS yet that had armies of the size found in the closing days of 8th. That many models on the table... that would devolve into one massive, quick melee in the middle of the table. I always try to take one big, nasty critter with 10+ wounds to take on other big, nasty critters, or, in some cases, eliminate huge chunks of the opposing army (such as a certain Ork Warlord on a named Wyvern...). If AoS has proven anything to me, it's that bigger is always better.
