What do you guys think about this list:

Aspect host:
10 dire avengers, exarch in a serpent with holofields

5 warp spiders, exarch

Dark reapers, exarch, star shot

CAD:
Farseer, singing spear

Scatterbikes

Shuribikes

Vaul's wrath with vibro x3

rangers

Vyper with scatter laser, shuriken cannon

vyper with 2 shuriken cannons

Avatar of khaine

Is this cheesy and OP at 1250? I don't want to piss off my buddies in our upcoming game, but I still want to use eldar. I am hesitant to put this on the field vs space wolves and deldar in a 1v1v1.

Limit heavy weapons on bikes to 1 in 3.

Aside from that, it basically looks fine (at least, from the perspective of "no cheese").

I suppose I could do that and switch the points over to another stock vyper.

It's good to see that you specifically don't consider it too cheesy, Traditio. I've read alot of Eldar threads and am pretty wary of being "that guy". I just really like the aesthetic and feel of the army and enjoy playing them once in a blue moon.

You can keep the scats on the bikes, that's your only "cheesy" unit. And depending on the other lists, I think you might need it.

From a strategic point of view:

I have no idea what he plans on doing with the avatar of khaine. It seems like an easy kill point for his opponents.

My biggest aim isn't to win in this game, it's to have fun and use an army I rarely play.

The Avatar is there pretty much to keep assault units from being able to rampage into my reapers, rangers, and vaul's wrath. I was planning on positioning him at a point somewhat equidistant from both opponents just beyond my deployment zone in cover and dissuade transports and assault units from coming too close while my ranged focuses on their backfield units.

To be honest I kind of put him in the list specifically to waste points a bit... so he's sort of a glorified screening unit that will have utility if my opponents are over zealous. I'm anticipating a drop pod or two, so if I see them I may hang him back a bit to make the other opponent's deployment zone look like a more tantalizing drop point.

Hell, even if he soaks some firepower he will help the list a bit.
